Some months back at the hospital where I manage, one patient who retured from United States of America and was admitted at the hospital was discussing about some songs of 80’s & 90’s, compared to the ones now.
He said, “my man, the songs by legendary artists such Phil Collins, Dolly Parton, West Life, Stardust, The Police, M83, Billy Idol, Celine Dion, among others are song with life experiences. Those artists don’t just sing songs, but they do it for a reason and what they have passed through in life.”
I then asked him; “who are Baltimora? is’t a title of a song or what?” He smiled and told me to Google them online. Honestly, that was the very first time I got to know about Baltimora.
They were an Italian music band from Milan, who were believed to be active from the year 1984 to 1987. And in the year 1985, they released this ever-green rock song from their album tagged “Living in the Background.”
With that said, as for me, Tarzan Boy song is all about living freely (having freedom) with little or no concerns coupled the maximum enjoyment with nature.
This verse said it all; “Jungle life, you’re far away from nothing, It’s all right, you won’t miss home, Take a chance, leave everything behind you, come and join me, You won’t be sorry, it’s easy to survive.”
